I have spent my adult life working as a musician, teacher, writer and poet. I have done a lot of other things too, which gives me plenty to sing about!

Recipient Outstanding Young Artist Award 1982: National Endowment for the Arts.

Active in many bands  & solo projects over the years, including:  The Tallahassee Shakes, Begs & Achin', Hunka Hunka, and Sharla June & The Mayhaws.

Experience working as both a frontwoman and back-up singer, both on stage and in the studio.
